Announcing the FKL and American Watercolor Society Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD — The American Watercolor Society and the Florian K. Lawton Foundation have announced receipt of a generous scholarship created by the R. T. Hicks Family of North Carolina and matched by the Foundation.

The purpose of the American Watercolor Society fund is "to foster the appreciation of the watercolor media through a program that offers art teachers with little or no experience in watercolor, to enhance their skills and in so doing — influence their students in the watercolor medium. The fund is directed at the art teacher who is currently working at a secondary school or university here in the United States".
